Gatcombe Park is the country residence of Anne, Princess Royal located between the villages of Minchinhampton and Avening in Gloucestershire, England. Built in the late 18th-century to the designs of George Basevi, it is a Grade II * listed building. Although it is a royal residence because it is home to the Princess Royal, it is privately-owned. ==Location== Gatcombe Park is located between the villages of Minchinhampton and Avening in the county of Gloucestershire in South West England. Other British royals have lived locally.
